At age 9, Naseem knew she wanted to be a singer when she watched Christina Aguilera\\\\\\\'s \\\\\\\'Beautiful\\\\\\\' on MTV. She quotes, \\\\\\\"when you\\\\\\\'re young you really don\\\\\\\'t have a clue what you wanna be but for me, I knew that dream was for me, I had a open mind and wanted to speak up, through singing. \\\\\\\" In January 2011, she had her first surgery ever in her life and she worried she couldn\\\\\\\'t do anything after this surgery...but sometimes things aren\\\\\\\'t so true. In 2012, Naseem was a fresh woman, off the streets of Chicago, REALLY pursuing her singing career. As being a member of the website SOUNDCLOUD, when she first posted herself singing a cover of \\\\\\\'Princess Of China\\\\\\\' , it got over 2,000 views in less than 2 weeks. Her first album she made was called \\\\\\\'Gratis\\\\\\\' featuring two hits like DREAMING and KNOCK US DOWN, she was just in the beginning. After a while, things went crazy when one of tracks \\\\\\\'Pour It Up\\\\\\\' (by Rihanna) reached over 20,000 views! That was when she was reaching her climax in her career. As of now, of 2013, Naseem is currently working on her 3rd studio album called \\\\\\\'Vivid\\\\\\\', showing a whole new side of her.
