Master P, Jay Z, Diddy, Tupac & C-Murder, is what best describe Juranamo Jones AKA JMO (J Make Opportunities). Born August 28, 1983 in Atlanta, GA, his family relocated back to DC which is the hometown of his mother, when he was just 1 year old. Raised in the rough streets of N.E., DC, Mayfair Mansion & Paradise Apartment complex, JMO became a victim to the justice system at the early age of 10. In and out of juvenile facilities as a juvenile helped JMO develop his love for writing. He started writing poetry at the age of 10 and wrote his first song titled “Expect the Unexpected” at the age of 11. As an adult the legal trouble continued but that never stopped him from perfecting his craft. At age 14 JMO was recording songs onto cassette tapes from inside his home and passing them out throughout the DMV area. In 2000 he finally recorded his first song on cd titled “Here We Come” featuring friend Coogi McFly. It was an uphill battle from then on. In 2003 JMO then joined a record label called M.T.D. (Money Time Dedication) Entertainment. There he had a verbal contract. Loyalty & Integrity play a big part in JMO everyday life, he came in as an artist and left as a business partner. Releasing “Take Heed” in 2005 which was produced by Tim “Breezy” Brown the album was not promoted well. From 2005 to 2009 was not a good life for JMO. His childhood best friend and music partner Derrick “Iraq” Jones was murdered, his only brother was electrocuted then sentenced to 25 years in prison, his mother was diagnosed with cancer, engineer Mike “Millionaire” McCormick died of brain cancer, then JMO was arrested again in PG County Maryland in 2008 then released from Upper Marlboro Facility in 2009. While incarcerated JMO grandfather and mentor died 1 month before release. After case was dismissed, JMO co-defendant and friend DeAndre “Lil Dee” Smith was murdered 3 days later. October 2009 JMO then released a mixtape titled “Chowtime”. He recorded a music video titled “I Beef” which represented the mixtape. Not waisting any time, February 2010 he then released another mixtape titled “Retaliation – A Black History Month Dedication” which buzzed the streets of DC. Just two months later JMO then released Reincarnation in April of 2010. Each CD was mix, mastered, recorded, & produced by Juranamo Jones. JMO then realized it was time to take it to the next level and enrolled into Full Sail University studying his Bachelors in Recording Arts and Bachelors in Entertainment Business. JMO then relocated and moved to the Orlando, Florida area. Later that year JMO started taking his classes online so he can tour. August 2010 JMO released “Blow-The Mixtape” which was inspired by the motion picture “Blow”. Working with several producers such as Bryan “DC Shye” Woods and Tim Adamack JMO released a music video titled “What If”. The video was recorded edited and directed by Juranamo Jones. He also directed a music video by The Streetz titled “Look In My Eyes” and another by Neno Bands titled “Voice of Voices”. Juranamo Jones also is the founder of Infrared TV, No Warning Mixtapes, Kingz4Life Films, and Kingz4Life Management. JMO is now working on his newest project titled “How G’ Is Dis” which is scheduled to be released the Summer of 2012. Performing live shows throughout the Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Baltimore, DC, and Virginia areas, JMO was again arrested in November 2010 and was detained at DC Jail under the D.O.C until February 2012. JMO has not been convicted of accusations but is currently awaiting trial which begins July 2012. Juranamo Jones is a very dedicated, consistent Recording Artist and Entrepreneur regardless of his legal troubles.
