Email: [email protected] Armoin are Barrie Allen and Kim Haze. We played together professionally many years ago and after a long time apart, we recently reunited to make our first album, Doubt. (to purchase a copy please contact us via email) All the songs were written by Barrie, and show a variety of musical influences, with catchy melodies and strong harmonies. The songs have a history that folds in upon itself. Some have lyrics that postdate the music by decades. Others written in the last year or so contain bridges or choruses from much earlier pieces. Kim’s Song was written in the late eighties, not long before we lost contact. Barrie rewrote some of the lyrics and added a third verse in late 2009, with no idea that within three months, I would be singing with him in the studio. Nor that the third verse would prove so prophetic. I guess the fact of the matter is, - and to quote Eagles frontman Glen Frey – we never really broke up. We just took a really long holiday. We are currently putting together a repertoire of originals and our favourite covers, and have been playing around local open mic gigs to get “match fit” as well as some community concerts, private parties and we have just been offered our first "paying" pub gig. Now we are busy trying to promote ourselves via the internet as well as performing live as often as we can. Along the way we hope to meet and play with other musicians, with the aim of putting together a full band and performing our songs as we have recorded them.
