Bio
Zac Chandler was born in Washington D.C. He was bit by The Beatle bug from early on. His first experience playing guitar in bands was around the Bay area. His family then moved to Hollywood, Florida where he began learning bass, keyboards, some banjo, and peddle steel, but was mainly playing bass in blues groups. As an adult Zac focused on guitar and played in "The Debbi Lee Band". After "The Debbi Lee Band" folded he joined "The Chemicals". Both of these bands have opened for acts that include Waylon Jennings, Carl Perkins, Foghat, The Guess Who, Albert King, Sonny King, Steppenwolf, Wayne Newton, Bad Co, Pat Travers, and Southern Pacific. In "The Chemicals" he was one of the founding members where he played guitar, banjo and keyboards, which produced a self titled cd under Waterbug records. Zac's first solo cd "Zac Chandler Jetcar" contains 15 trks of rock, country, and blues available at cdbaby.com recorded in his home studio "Lil One recording". Zac's 2nd cd "Biker" is also available at cdbaby.com. Zac received a special commendation for songwriting from Eddie Rabbitt, which his song "Why Do You Tease Me" placed 13 out of 50,000 entries.
