LITH was founded in 2008 by Jeremy Green as an experiment in electronic music. The one-man band released a self-titled EP in August of that year, containing many unfinished songs and many wide ranging styles. Although it was just an experiment, The LITH EP attracted a great deal of attention for its creative and philosophical lyrics and unique fusion of dance, trance and industrial elements into a rock inspired musical framework. Only 200 copies of the LITH EP were ever produced, and the act enjoyed an Internet-based cult following. In 2009, Green abandoned the project to explore alternate musical interests. In July 2010, LITH announced that it would be producing a new album, one that would drastically change the act's aesthetic and sound into a more refined dance-based concept. "New Sensation" is now in development, and LITH is preparing to make a much bigger impact the second time around.
