Singer-songwriter and music producer Agné Genyté started her music career at the age of 11. Enthusiastic, perfectionist kid could not give up on an idea of having her own band that would play original music. By the age of 13 she was offered a record deal with the band called “Smile”. Agné Genyté took a part as a songwriter and instrumentalist. Bands first record titled “What a strange world” was released by Lithuanian record label “Jam records” in 1999. After four years of enterprising, successful and adventurous life with the band Agné Genyté accomplished to be nominated for the best new act during Lithuanian “Bravo” and “Radiocentras” awards, won “Best youngest act” during “Mama, I will sing” competition. Appeared for many live TV shows and performed more than 160 concerts yearly. The biggest performance took a place in The USA during “Odyssey of the mind” competition, which was viewed by 15 000 people. Despite the success of the band after the determination of the contract Agné Genyté moved to The USA. The decision was made in order to experience a different type of life and explore new possibilities. The peculiar life style taught her the biggest lesson on its own - “require for excellence, accept reality and allow others to understand your sincerity”. With new thoughts and ideas Agné Genyté returned to Europe and started working on new projects.
