Bio
FIONA HUTCHISON is a singer/songwriter/poet/multi-instrumentalist living in Tasmania, Australia's island state. Over 30 years as a performer as a soloist, in duos and bands, and as busker, spruiker and emcee has given Fi plenty of experience. People enjoy her easy listening tunes, but may not realise she has a comedic side, as well as "revving" it up for rock & blues. ( She was also in a 50s/60s rock band) The songs on the music player on this page show the variety of styles Fiona enjoys writing. "Grandad's Shed" is a poem, "Lazybones" a country song with humour, "May The Lord Guide You" is from a gospel album from 1999, "Summer In Saint Kilda" is a folk song of busking in Melbourne Australia's favourite beachside suburb, and "I'll Never Be A Beauty Queen" is simply comedy. The video is "Ride My Bike" a song Fi wrote for a bike song competition (the WINNING ENTRY)
