(NEED PRODUCTION?)CONTACT ME(718)772-7471) about me, Jamar DeJan was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in the suburbs of Maryland.At the tender age of 7 years old he discovered he had a passion and a gift for playing the piano. As Jamar matured he played in his high school bands, choirs and talent competitions.He grew to appreciate all styles of music from rap, hip-hop, go-go, r&b, jazz, classical and gospel. Once he graduated from High School Jamar auditioned for Berkley College School of Music in California and was accepted. He later transferred to Suny Purchase College where he graduated with a BS in Music Composition. While in school Jamar composed for various up and coming artist.This is how he honed his skills to becoming the producer,musician and composer he is today.Always striving for perfection with his music, he realized while in college where his gift, drive and love for music came from.An encounter with God changed his life and ultimate his direction with his music. His heart for people lead him to using his gift in church. He retained several positions as a church musician and one of the most sought after keyboardist in the NY, DC, MD areas.Jamar is married to recording artist and songwriter Talein. The dynamic duo have served as ministers of music and praise & worship leaders at Tabernacle of Peace and New Beginning Christian Center. They also created several Jingles for churches and businesses. Jamar collaborated with his wife on her debut project Don\\\\\\\'t Turn Your Back On God/Angelic Vibe Music/2006, which is receiving rave reviews.
