Bio
Tyrone Matherson Born in New Orleans, Lousiana in 1958. At the age of 10 his brother inlaw brought his first guitar and he learned to play on his own. Watching the Jackson 5 really motivated him to play. As the years went by he started playing in the Junior High School stage band. After graduating from Booker T. Washington High School he started traveling and writing music with different bands. In 1981 he started writing songs on his own. In 1984 He enter the first local song writing contest called the "Budwiser Showdown Contest" winning first place song title: "Feel Free to Dance". In 1989 he received a certificate of achievement award from billboard song contest title: "I Could Have It All". He received three honorable mention in the 11th international billboard song writing contest song titles: "Morning Sunrise", "Eyes of Love", "After Midnight". and he received billboard 12th annual contest for jazz composition "The Way She Blows".
