Seven began life as a solo project in a dark, cluttered basement inhabited by Brad Tuttle. The initial idea was to create heavy music that moves you; embraces and enhances you; giving you what you think you want and then taking you somewhere totally unexpected, like a journey and an adventure. As with the ideas surrounding the number 7 in science, art and literature, the band creates the embodiment of musical esoterica and unheard of sonic dimensions. Just as matter and energy change into each other, musical elements transform and move into each other to create a constantly evolving soundscape. Whilst beginning in the virtual world of the studio in a box, by utilizing the possibilities of modern technology, Seven are able to bring the dark and dense multi-faceted sound of their recordings to the stage uncompromisingly. Combining a highly energetic, exciting sound with the symphony of audio elements and electronics has given Seven a reputation as an outstanding and unbelievable live act. Independently released on Halloween 2009, Seven now follow up their 2007 debut album with the highly anticipated "Cymatics," a logical progression that represents a heavier and more groove-based musical exploration.
