Open your soul to a new sound that comes from a place all of us have been. A sound that will put a chill down your arm, a tear in your eye, a pep in your step, and a drink in your hand.. A sound that is timeless, a sound that is fresh every time you turn your ear to it, it’s the sound of Whisky Row. Jason and Mike the duo Whisky Row are two men that have a bond that is more powerful than blood. Their bond has been forged by a sound unique to themselves. From the moment they met there has been that connection. Together they immersed themselves into the greats. No matter the style, if it was easy on the ears, they played it. Being from the rich fertile fields of California's Central Valley always led them back to the stories, the tradition, and the beauty of country music. Like so many, they first got their start playing in local honky tonk's paying there dues, leading to bigger and bigger shows. Their first big break happened in January of 2010 when they got an opportunity to play at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. Mike and Jason then moved to Nashville in 2010 at the request of some of the industries most established and well respected musicians. Perfecting their sound in the capital of country music was a dream come true. In July of 2011 they completed their first full length self titled CD Whisky Row. All involved with the record have said it is one of the best projects if not the best project they've been a part of. The renowned musicians they worked with are on the radio today when you tune in and have been for the last 20 years. According to entertainment media, the group is up and coming and expected to create major excitement and bring change to the country music industry with the creative twist they provide with their love and passion for music. Because of their unique style of music, Whisky Row brings up plenty of questions across the country as to where they would be categorized. This is nothing to worry about, as it is said, "the best music made, is music that has never been made before." Currently, Whisky Row is back in California spending some much needed time with their families while test driving their new record with their explosive backup band, The West Side Ride. Their families have given up so much to see these two fulfill what they know the rest of the world has yet to enjoy. They are scheduled to go back to Nashville, TN in February of 2012 where they will be attending meetings and negotiating with the biggest country labels in the industry.
