[b] Yung Prophet’s Bio One of the most recognizable characters in modern day Christian rap, in Salisbury and Fruitland Maryland. Jonathan Russell( Yung Prophet) first rose to fame at the age of 14 in St John House Of Deliverance. His Christian rap sense set him apart from many of his peers, because he stop rapping for the world to rap for Christ, and his confidence often came across as boastful or even egotistic when all he wanted to do is praise God. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey in January 16, 1990, and a year after moved to Salisbury, MD to stay the rest of his life with his Aunt and Uncle Helen and James Palmer and his grandmother Bessie Russell. Jonathan Russell began performing at 14, at local churches whenever his pastor went to preach. Also winning local competitions for vocal abilities. Throughout the struggles in his life and with the passing of his grandmother in 2006, Jonathan has overcame all odds. Which lead this young prophet to become much stronger and wiser as a young man. He has built an relationship with God any he understands and nobody else. Between 2008-2009 has been a big outbreak for Yung Prophet. His career was starting to come up with his songs on My Space doing well and still going strong. Only one song stood out from all the bunch, and that has his hit No Worry which cause him to win his first ever high school talent show. And being the one Gospel artist there was a big step for his career.
