Divine Harmony, was named in order to remind who hear our music, to keep our hearts and minds focused on our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our group is based upon the truths of God's Word, which is evident in the songs we sing. With over 40 years of Gospel/Christian Music experience between them, Divine Harmony currently consists of lead/baritone singer Darrell Hawkins from Montevallo, AL bass singer Ken Dunkin from Oak Grove, AL, alto singer Ashley Haisten Hawkins from Sylacauga AL and soprano singer Brooke Keyes from Oak Grove AL. We have had the opportunity to share the same stage with some of the finest groups in the industry over the past few years, whether it be The Imperials, Michael Combs, Squire and Sam Parsons, The Easter Brothers, Brothers Redeemed, Heavenly Sunrise Quartet, Evidence Pure Gospel, and many more. Throughout our lives, it became clear to us that the Lord had placed only one calling in our hearts, and that was to sing praises to him and be His humble servants. If we, as Christians will only make ourselves available to Him, then He will place us where He will have us to be used in His ministry. This is no doubt what our ministry is all about. We are not just great friends formed by chance, we are individuals, who by making ourselves available to the Lord, and were placed together to do the work of the Lord. We love the Lord and simply pray that He will use our group and our abilities to bring people closer to God and glorify His name. We want people to get excited about our Lord Jesus as we are, and learn what an exciting journey it can be knowing our Lord. Divine Harmony will definitely be an inspiration to your church family, both young and old alike, as we tell the story of Jesus in song. We have had the opportunity to sing in churches with diverse denominational identities and has been widely accepted by each congregation. We want to present the greatest truth to as many people as we possibly can through music that is both fresh and exciting. We hope that you will sense our love for the Lord as we bless your soul. In a world that is constantly changing, God’s love does not. This is the message that motivates Divine Harmony to share… this is what motivates them to sacrifice… this is what motivates them to sing. We want to share what Jesus Christ has done in our lives, and what he can do in the lives of every human being who will allow it. This is the message we want to deliver in our concerts through our music. We are a "regional" Christian group located in the Central Alabama area. We sing Southern Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and some of the old hymns we have all grown up on. We sing/perform primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, but we will accept bookings for Friday nights in the Central Alabama area. Our travel is focused primarily in Alabama and the states surrounding Alabama (GA, TN, MS & FL) but that does not mean that we will not travel further.
