Bio
First off, I want to give thanks to God, for he is my savior, leader, and teacher. I created this page to promote my self as an artist and a businessman. I moved back to my home town to get a feel for my roots and meet more of my realities. I am really big on family. That is one of the reasons that my cousin (Mista Clef) is my primary producer. He has made beats for me such as This aint a movie, Slim, Street Lights, and Get F’d Up. Get F’d up is the before, during, and after club scene song. That was based on situations and comical stories told by family members. Slim is a song paying homage to my favorite rapper. It is also a way to describe the thought of slim chance that another black male has to be in an industry full of other black males. I entitled it Slim because Eminem had a slim chance and becoming famous. And we all know Shady made it. It also speaks on the topic of how people don’t want to be them selves to become successful. Also I wanted to make an anthem for people born between 1980 and 1989. Surprisingly it attracts all generations Street lights was a song based on a time when I use to throw house parties. Some of the people couldn’t go home until their parents got off work or went to work around dawn. It also is the reverse concept on how kids in the 70’s had to be home before the street lights came on. Listen is my diss song to untalented rappers who think they are talented. Period. Layin wit me was a song that I created to brag about my weird love life. It informs a boy friend that the women he lives with isn’t faithful to him. On top of living with him she lies to him and tells me every thing about her. It’s the rap sequel to Ginuwine’s What’s the difference? This aint a movie was a cut and paste creation made up of similes and metaphors from films in the past. It also is a diss to people that pretend to be something their not. I’ve been writing since 2nd grade and rapping since 5th. In 8th grade I chose the name Lyric The Lyricist. I wanted to my songs to have meaning, great vocabulary, alliteration, comical similes, and metaphors that would grasp the attention of any audience.
