Bio
Born on the south side, and raised on the north side, from staying in 3rd ward to growing up in Greenspoint, Houston, TX. Artist X.O.Vino has been around. While being raised in a single family home X.O.Vino mom did the best she could so X.O. could get the best out of life. X.O. Mom was always gone working to keep food on the table which left X.O. open to the street life, and corruption of the world. After several years of running the streets and getting in and out of trouble X.O. Met up with his cousin Sir Snake of the Bass Crusades who stayed in Greenspoint, at the time aka gunspoint when he was 13 and from that day on rap became X.O's new love. At the time X.O. was given the name Lil G by his cousin, because of how he was so young but so mature in the game and how he could freestyle about it on the beats that Sir Snake would make. For several years Lil G was doing shows in and around Houston at clubs he wasn't even old enough to get in. While working with his cousin, Lil G had the privilege to work with rap artist Polo from the Master P album ..Down South Hustlers.. on a couple of songs. At the time everything Lil G had on wax was freestyle. In 1996 Lil G Hooked up with artist X-Mann from ..Trinity Garden Cartel Judge by twelve carried by six and history was made. By the time of 1996 Lil G had changed his name to X.O.Vino which was inspired by rap artist X-Mann, and had worked on songs while doing shows with Several Houston Artist like Killa Bee, AD Tha Last One, J-Devolle, Desperado's, Tru Game (55) and many more. In the year of 2000 X.O.Vino was getting in so much trouble and hanging with the wrong crowd that he decided to leave Houston for a while, and he did this by joining the hardest military branch of them all, the Marine Corps. While in the Marines X.O. Continued to do his music even while constantly getting phone calls from friends telling him about his friends that where getting locked up or killed due to the hard life of Houston, TX. By the time of 2002 X.O. had been in 2 groups one called SideWayz which was X.O. and Atlanta rapper Rukus. While in that group they did shows with Slim thug and Lil Keke in San Diego, Ca just to name a few. Around that time X.O.Vino found out thru family that he was closely connected to Houston, Rap Artist Big Pokey, and has had the opportunity to speak with both Pokey and Lil Keke on the phone at the same time. Although X.O. Does not parade this around he is still proud to know that. Later in the year X.O. and Atlanta rapper Rukus teamed up with Miami artist J-Norrell, Suave, and super producer Eros to Create the Hit Group Vicious. By 2005 Vicious had an opportunity to do business with Michael Sterling Creator of the Hit Song by Lil Jon ..Lovers and Friends.., and also get noticed by BME and Atlantic Records for deals, sadly to say they did not fall thru do to pour decisions of other individuals. Vicious also had the opportunity to get pictures taken by famous photographer Peter Langone. At the end of 2005 X.O. returned to Houston, TX and hooked back up with X-Mann and Herb Man of Trinity Garden Cartel, and Triple Platinum Producer Mike B. X.O.Vino has appered on radio station from the West Coast to the South including Lake Charles 107 Jamz and Houston, TX Radio station 104.9, which have played two records that X.O.Vino have appeared on with X-werks Ent. X.O.Vino has his own Label called Tha STAND Entertainment which is a military based label with Rap artist to Models. Although this is not all that X.O.Vino has done are has in process, this is enough to let you know to watch out for this versatile rap artist by the name of X.O.Vino.
