Bio
Lisa LaRue has combined native influences, native flute and progressive rock keyboards with Jazz and other great instrumental genres. She is a member of the federally-recognized United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians, and has been nominated for 2 Native American Music Awards, as well as recipient of Oklahoma Music Awards' Native American Artist of the Year. Her sound is unique, while containing whispers of the influences. She would like to focus more on soundtracks and other instrumental opportunities. Lisa's newest CD, Transformation 2012, will be released November 15, 2008, and features the single "Save Me" with vocals by John Payne (of "Asia" featuring John Payne). She is also a nominee for the 2008 Hollywood Music Awards in the Instrumental category.[b]
