Politrix ain’t bout the politics! That’s the phrase that we’re trying to get into the minds of the listeners. Born September 19th, 1983, to a Haitian immigrant in South Florida, Mr. Politrix came into life not knowing that he would be in a situation where he had to stand up and speak from his heart and not from just the mind. Raised in the multi cultural area of Pompano Beach, Florida, he watched the world change in person and not just in time. Where little kids use to play football, basketball, tops, and other neighborhood activities, he finds that money has caused a rush that eliminates the drive that use to exist in young kids when he was younger. It wasn’t just about being someone and/or having something. It was about waking up and feeling free. Free of bills, free of stress, free of everything that could put pain in the heart of a child. Only pain we knew of when we were younger was that of falling down, but it seems like it’s harder to get up these days. At 25, he still hasn’t lost his drive, but he is driving it to another basket these days. You’re gonna get raw footage of something that even he doesn’t understand. It’s not what he’s doing but what he’s saying. Mr. Politrix is trying to lift the conscious minds of his peers, and steer them away from the unwarranted things that seem to get a lot of us into trouble. Trouble that causes our minds to be enslaved in prison, out of job opportunity because of felonies, and even putting us in situations that put us face to face with life and death. Well, he’s here to let you know that even though death is promised, it always comes with a cost. Now it’s what you do on this earth is what price you have to pay for walking into a new life, one that only the forgotten know about. Real talk from a real street intellectual with thoughts that will have you going to do some research…Keep ya ears to the speakers, it’s raw like steak. So pay attention… Politics is his main interest. Following the moves of government and becoming more informed with the community. At 25, you never know I could run for mayor one of these days. Sport fanatic who keeps it with the home team (DOLPHINS, HEAT, MARLINS). Reading and writing. I like reading up on a lot of different books written by former government employees. It seems like a lot of them have a lot to get off of their chests after serving in office They say if you don’t want a black man to know about something, but it in a book. Shit I’m in the book store more than the liquor store. Different kinds of artists. Really enjoyed the 90s movement and the flow of artist that came through that era. It was really coded music that really didn’t have meaning until you start listening to them now. Artists like Goodie Mobb, The Dungeon Family, Outkast, JT Money, Soldier Slim, Master P (before HollyHood), Mystikal, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Pastor Troy, Eightball & MJG, Scarface, Pimp C, Bun B, Trick Daddy, and the Fugees to name more than a few. Those who really had a great affect in my life where artists like 2Pac and Bob Marley. Those guys where like prophets who made things come to life in the booth. Never will we ever find people like those two. That’s why they had to go before their time. God calls his strongest soldiers in when he knows that they’re ready to lead. Those guys could have lead masses of people. Masses. But it is what it is. This music is different in that it doesn’t sound like conventional music that seems to be hitting the airwaves these days. Most of the music is either talking about money, making it and spending it,. Cars, riding in them, and flossing them out with rims. Clothes, forcing us to go and buy the next line of DODO jeans, just cause he got them on in the video. Yeah, I know he’s not being forced to do it. But at the end of the day, it is the television and magazines that teach us how to live these days. We don’t know what’s in fashion until they tell us. I’m just giving the streets a little something different. Something that’s not left or right. Shit, I’m going all the way up the middle on this one. Mr. Politrix is the name, and politics is a game. A game that we didn’t even know we were part of until now….Now that Politrix is in the building. RAW AND UNEDITED VERSION. I would like to meet a host of people. To begin with it would have to be God, and even though he lives in spirit, meeting him would be all that would matter to a man no matter what else he ever did. But as far as human flesh go, I’d like to meet some outstanding figures of society like Albert Einstein, George Washing, Kunta Kente, Abraham Lincoln, Harriet Tubman, Malcolm X, Bob Marley, 2Pac, Papa Dock (Duvailleire, I think I spelled it right), Moses from the Bible, Luke, Peter, John, Matthew, Joshua, Mr. Rockerfeller, George Bush 1 &2, Jenna Bush, Jeb Bush, Osama, Obama, YOMAMA. You get my drift. It’s Politrix. What did you expect?
