[b]DJ Goodnight [/b]is a renisance man when it comes to the music industry, as the founder of the [b]Pittsburgh Hip Hop Coalition [/b]and Co-Founder of [b]1Livevision Multimedia Group [/b]he has fought for the rights of Artist in Pittsburgh for the past twelve years. He has done this by creating events that highlight the positive in Hip Hop, while still creating events that give the artist freedom to still express themselves. Three years ago DJ Goodnight was the DJ on some of the Royal Tribe Music Community Day Tours. In 2008 he ventured out to create his own PGH Hip Hop Coalition Community Day Tour which had ten dates around the City and surrounding areas. Always active in politics DJ Goodnight created the Hip Hop Get Out & Vote Showcase to encourage college students to get out and vote. A lot of students would register but not actually go out and vote. In 2009 DJ Goodnight has been very busy, five months into the year DJ Goodnight already has Three successful events with two more in the Month of May. April 4th & 5th the Kenny Durrett All-Star Game featuring an exclusive concert for all the basketball players. Keeping the Dream Alive Concert and the Kenny Durrett All-Star Game featured local Artist performing including the Lovely Songstress Mona Singing the National Anthem for the Steelers vs. PGH NBA All-Stars.
