In the beginning years of his artistry, the name Ova was short for \"Ovation,\" but the concept was later dropped due to him creating music for his own approval and not doing it for popularity (though his music would eventually garner it). Jokingly Ova refers to himself as \"Ovary\" implying that he likes to receive \"diva treatment\" in which half of the time going out, he finds himself at the center of women\'s attention receiving free drinks, free food, poorly miscounted change in his favor, free V.I.P and number of other things uncommon to the average man. Started recording in January at the age of 18 turning 19 within the year of 2004. Began producing at the age of 20. Sole purpose of making music is to deride the rap music industry by creating overly violent songs to mock artists and fans for believing that lifestyle is real or maintained on a consistent basis, hence the music genre named \"RAP TERRORISM.\" Also Alex Palisades likes violent music over any other type of rap music. Alex Palisades believes music is no different from acting in a movie, the individual artist must play a convincing role in order to sell the illusion as real. The alias \"God of the Voice\" implies the ability for Alex Palisades to constantly change his voice to fit the scope of each song. None of the songs recorded are used by Alex Palisades\' actual voice. This is to evoke real criticism or compliments from listeners about his music while being present. Also to actively engage in conversation while remaining anonymous to most people. Alex Palisades\' second genre of music named \"Triple X\" is salacious, objective and vulgar (vulgar in early days) representing personal events while partying. Triple X receives ambivalent reactions from females, though the intended purpose of the genre was aimed at females, contrary to Rap Terrorism being aimed towards the males. Triple X songs are recorded on original (non-sampled) beats that mimicked reggae riddims to pay homage to Alex Palisades\' favorite genre of music, \"Reggae\" preferably Dancehall Reggae. Most importantly, not every song recorded is a Triple X or Rap Terrorism song. Ova has a third genre of music named \"Static Rose,\" which is techno based. The name of this genre has oxymoronic meaning, in which Static (normally implies stationary properties) is used to represent electric properties of wild movement. Rose represents females, hence a simple translation to Static Rose would be Wild Girls. More importantly, this newly formed genre of music uses no profanity, and only depicts fun times. Similar to Triple X, Static Rose songs are only recorded on original (non-sampled) beats. This music genre is aimed at listeners who prefer dance/party music that is neither rap or reggae. This may be Ova\'s most important genre of music, because it can potentially make the most fastidious listeners more open to his artistry and acclimate to his other violent, conceited and salacious genres. Lastly, Static Rose can allow Ova to have access to a wider range of venues that do not play rap or reggae. Alex Palisades makes songs purely for his own pleasure and uses his indestructible Will in order to defend and continue making it. Using multiple voices for recording songs was a way for Alex Palisades to become Ova\'s biggest fan, though he is fan of \"some\" rap artists, he feels the music industry will always waterdown or filter their lyrics and style of music. Ova developed a new goal through his diligent artistry, in which he wants to become the most complete artist in the world (this includes designing clothes, beat production, multiple genre recording, and film production). Ironically, being the biggest fan of himself (Ova), Alex Palisades can\'t remember his lyrics/songs outside of recording. Alex Palisades\' closest friend and biggest supporter Jaoker, remembers more, if not all of Ova\'s music history. Alex Palisades feels not remembering his own music is the perfect way to preserve the mystique of his music persona. Many friends often feel \"not remembering your lyrics/songs to the slightest degree is huge blow to your own artistry because of the inability to battle rap or spit a bar to someone who doesn\'t know you,\" but that topic is always up for debate. Alex Palisades has a very eclectic taste in music ranging from classical, techno to K-pop. Ova rarely does music performances (only using Triple X genre) in Brooklyn and Manhattan venues. Ova\'s music has been played in strip clubs and small radio stations in the past. Ova has also received music, publishing and distribution contracts from notable labels, but remains to be an independent artists for the purpose of keeping his freedom to continue or stop making music whenever he feels like. Alex Palisades plans to use his music as a pathway to his new upcoming clothing line.
