Steven Vincent ( AKA Steve Di Laudo ) toured around Europe in the 90’s playing alternative rock with a group called “ Creep” opening for such main stream acts as “ Motorhead “ and “ Iron Maiden “ . The female fronted band gained notoriety from its Shows along with radio and tv appearances on European Networks, and its singers naked flesh on the pages of Playboy Magazine in the US. In 1998 Steve formed his Jazz- Funk &Latin band ” Bad Dog No Biscuit “. The impetus for the project was to expose the younger generations to compelling music that would revive the interest and appreciation in the form and content of such legendary artist as Santana, Otis Redding and Bob Marley. Steve has financed and released two Cds with Bad Dog under his indi label Badog Records. The albums have sold hundreds of copies world wide over the internet. In 2002 Steve and his band appeared as a musical guest on Showtime’s “Resurrection Blvd “ where Steve had a co-starring role with Paul Rodriguez and Elizabeth Peña. Steve has also licensed multiple song titles like “Como Baila el Perro” And “No Comprendo” as background music for the show. In 2004 Bad Dog appeared on KCET Ch 3’s Mr. Duran Show “ where they played at the Annual Christmas Show in LA. In late 2005 Bad Dog landed a regular spot @ the Fort Mc Dowell Casino where they performed regularly for over a year, but due to Casino budget cuts in the entertainment department at the beginning of 2007 the band did it’s last show at the end of March . In Aug of 2006 Steve and his band were the musical guests on KPNX Ch 12 ’s “ Arizona Midday Show ” and were ask back for a second show on Feb 23 of 2007. Steve’s most recent work being “ So Tired” for a documentary film done be Cinematographer Haskell Wexler in late 2007 about sleep deprived Hollywood film crews. Now in 2008 Steve has revamped the group by changing the line up. It now consists of Guitar Vocals , Bass , Drums , Percussion, and Sax. The group has also been renamed “Steven Vincent Band” in representation of it’s leaders 30 years of performing experience and musicianship. Dedicated to bringing people a exceptional variety of dance oriented music, Steve continues to captivate his audiences in California and Arizona where he continues to play private events and corporate engagements.
