Adolphus “Big Dolph” Hall III, is a rising star native to Chicago. Dolph is a lyricist/ producer/ poet/ motivational speaker, & the work horse behind the infamous Next Level Productions. He initially got his start in music early on in life while playing the tenor saxophone in elementary school, soon after he began writing poems & short stories. With the start of 8th grade Big Dolph began to rap under the stage name Magician, & a few years later began to produce alongside his cousin J-Eazy & peers. Pretty soon Adolphus, dropped the name Magician & went with the nick-name the majority of his family & friends called him…Big Dolph. He began to battle both at school & online, while also maintaining a reputation as a genius in freestyle sessions. In 2005 Adolphus began to attend the University of Memphis where he released his 1st major album “Non-Fiction”, while in Memphis he also met recording artist Jonny B, & Young Jo, who joined him on his quest. The next year Big Dolph began production on his 2nd major CD “Zero Gravity”. During this process he finally started up his production company Next Level Productions & his own studio. Soon he met J-Love who is the newest artist to the label. With a diverse music background, & a passion 4 self expression Big Dolph & Next Level Productions are the next big thing. With Big Dolph’s up-coming 3rd cd “ Renaissance: The Rebirth of Big Dolph”, J-Love’s “Possible Impossibilities, Jonny B’s “Emancipation”, Young Jo’s “Believe it or Not”, & a compilation album…Next Level is truly taking music to the next level.
