For more info, please visit: www.reverbnation.com/johannajacobsen I\\\\\\\'m originally from Saratoga Springs, NY. I\\\\\\\'ve played music my entire life - beginning with the violin at age 7. Later, I joined the Empire State Youth Orchestra, where I had the opportunity to tour and play in Austria and Hungary. I was also involved in band and chorus. In 2000, I moved to Nashville, TN and by 2002 began learning the craft of songwriting (and how to play guitar!). Since then, I\\\\\\\'ve joined the band, Shed, where I add the harmony vocals to their sound. The summer of 2007 brought me the opportunity to tour with Shed and play at venues such as Indian Ranch and the Hampton Beach Casino, where we opened for Gretchen Wilson...and will be doing it again this summer, along with opening for Charlie Daniels at Indian Ranch! You can find me playing acoustic shows, as well as full band shows, all around Nashville.
