ABOUT GEORGE: George Kaufmann started studying the classical guitar at the age of 9. After about six months, he stopped taken lessons and continued on his own practicing 8-10 hours a day. By the age of 11 he was already playing 8th year level compositions by Sor and Tarrega and performing at radio stations. Although rock music was all around then, it never really interested him. One day he happended to hear a Roy Orbison song and liked it. Shortly after that, he listened to a song by the Beatles and was intrigued by how it was written and performed. At that moment he realized that although classical music is great, it wasn't the only thing out there that had merit. As time passed, George started listening to more pop rock music and realized that it gave him a different sensation. The sound seamed alive, fresh, honest, and sincere, rather uplifting! George tried writing a pop song but without much success until he took one of his classical pieces he composed earlier and added lyrics to it. For his first song, it came out pretty good. Although George never gave up his classical music, he started forming bands and performing out more. After moving from Maryland to Californina, he continued performing music and formed a christian rock group. They released a CD with 14 songs mostly written by George that was mastered at Capitol Records. The group was getting a following in town and started selling a fair number of CD's. Shortly after that however, the group disbanded. George continued performing and recently, one of his songs entitled, "It's Over" was picked by "Producer.com" in England from thousands of submissions. George states, "Most people that listen to my music say that it sounds very Orbison/Beatle like. But I never really tried to copy anyone, it just developed on it's own". He is an excellent composer of pop and classical music. He holds a masters degree and teaches in his private studio. ABOUT DAVID: David has been singing since he was 7 years old. He started performing for teachers and school administrators in elementary school. At his very first concert performance at 10 years old, he sang "Music Of The Night" at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center in front of about 600 people. He was in full costume and was asked for autographs. David has an extraordinary voice. He continues performing off and on and also did the Christmas show when they were promoting the movie, "The Polar Express" staring Tom Hanks at the Promenade Mall in Temecula in front of over 13,000 people. He was the talk of the town. He recieves chears as well as tears from his audiences. David will be on the next American Idol. Watch for him. ABOUT THE SONGS: The songs are a compilation of classical pop tunes, classic pop rock songs and from George's original album CD "ON MY OWN" which is available for purchase on iTunes. The very first of David's studio recordings was "Vesti La Guibba" and "Nessum Dorma" are included here. Though not a perfect performance at the age of 14, his voice does demonstrate his unique abilities. His main genre is classical pop. They both sing together in the song "WONDERFUL DREAMS" written by George included here. ABOUT THE VIDEO CLIPS: The pop songs are some of David's favorites included here. George's short clip performances are pop rock tunes. The Classical number named "Alicia" is an original classical composition by George.
