Bio

artist
Kibbutz Urim

Ron Gang is basically a blues keyboardist, his formative years being the mid-sixties. Gang also does vocals and harmonica. "I am getting my second wind at this time, hopefully maturing like old wine, or maybe just an old wino." The whole is greater than the sum of its parts - without the rest of The Blues Gang, this would never have come to be. On line presently are live tracks recorded at two performances in Kibbutz Urim. The musicians - Avi Steinberg - guitar, Boaz Tzur - drums, Yaniv Weinberg - bass. Sigal Priel sings on "A Little Help From My Friends". Please forgive the rough edges on these recordings, and enjoy! (Tracks 03, 04, 05) Tracks 01, 02 - Ron on one-man band multi-track recording. Track 06 with brother Len Gang, formerly lead guitarist of the Too Drunk to Fish band and track 07 with guitarist Bob "Kirsh" Kirshenbaum. (Ron Gang is also a prolific painter-artist - please check out his art site][link="http://www.iarc.org/~4x1mk/"] The Art of Ron Gang )
