The Sons of Favor of Indianapolis, Indiana The Sons of Favor started in 2005 under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, which led Minister Howard Richardson to the city of Fort Wayne, Indiana. In that time span he linked up with James “Blood” Noble and they both began to pray and fast for gentlemen that are hungry for winning souls to glorify God through song. James “Blood” Noble ran into Jermaine Jackson, also a native of Fort Wayne, IN., subsequently hooked up with Pat Mack of Indianapolis, IN. The foundation was formed, but not yet complete. Later to join the group would be Jimmy Hearing Jr., Larry Chapman, and Bruce Jackson. The seven members, the number of completion of the Sons of Favor became a ministry that is hungry after God’s Word. Mission Statement To convey the hearts and minds with God’s infallible Word through music and song with captives being set free, bondage being released, and yokes being destroyed. What the ministry means to each member Jermaine Jackson - Being in the Sons of Favor means setting out of self and putting God first. It means setting a standard for me, as well as my family, being accountable to God, and remembering to trust him. Minister Howard Richardson – This group as whole is one of the most awesome ministries I have ever been in my life. It is God birthed and God sent. I have really learned a lot about myself by being in this ministry by walking with a true and most high living God. Larry Chapman – The Sons of Favor has taught me to pray as well as reading the Word of God. Every since I’ve been a member I have been tested and tried, but through it all, with the grace of God I have learned to have a love for God and people more than ever. Patrick Mack – This ministry is a blessing to me in so many ways. I thank God for the Sons of Favor. Every day I am growing stronger in the name of Jesus Christ. The Sons of Favor have showed me nothing but love since I have been a part of this group since 2009. They have taught me so many things about singing and playing quartet music, and also helped me to get closer to the Lord. It is an honor to be a part of this ministry. Minister Bruce Jackson – This music ministry means a lot to me because it allows a person to focus his worship to God, particularly when a person is oppressed by the struggles of everyday life. Moreover, one can reflect upon their sins, and through the Holy Spirit, strongholds can be broken, souls can be delivered, and the greatness of God can be celebrated. Jimmy Herring Jr. – I strongly believe God has a calling on my life. For all the things I have been through has truly been a test. This ministry has changed my life since I have been a member. This group has allowed me to move forward from the pressure of life under the control of the Holy Spirit. To our honorary member James “Blood” Noble who was called home to be with Lord on April 4, 2012, we miss you and we are all truly looking forward to praising God with you.
