Bio

During his stay at continuation school in Vostrup, Tim began experimenting with his own songs. When the stay ended in 2005, he won the “Danske Ung Talent” (Danish Young Talent) competition with the song Thoughts of a Boheme. The prize was a single recording with the Danish top producer Peter Mark, including cover design and 150 copies at a value of 20000 Dkr. In the early summer of ’05 he then went to the studio with five of his friends from the continuation school. These five friends would also henceforth appear as Tim’s musical background. Tim and the band went to the studio on the 21st of June 2005, and recorded the first song, which later that year would bring them to the “[SPIL:] Festival 05” at Lille Vega in Copenhagen. The entire concert was recorded and it became the unreleased EP: “Tim Schou – live from VEGA”. In the spring of 2006 the band agreed to record the first serious EP. After a few short visits at Lars Juhl’s LJ recording studios in Strobye, the first 3 songs of the EP were ready. The 4th and last song of “Demo 2006” is “Thoughts of a Boheme”. This demo brought them to the semi finals of the “Rock on Rock-contest 06” and the semi finals and finals of the “Værd at høre på 06” (Worth Listening to 06) competition, arranged by City 2, Taastrup and The Voice, where they were able to walk away with the 1st prize, containing 25000 kr for the recording of 2 songs in “Ark Studios” in Copenhagen. One of the many goals is a record contract, but there is no rush because Tim is a talent with an unbreakable self-confidence that makes him keep trying until his goals and dreams are fulfilled.
