Artist name: Ray Nekhumbe Genre : world music (very multi lingual music) where am i from ? South Africa Originally from Limpopo currently residing in Soweto in a place called Tshiawelo, with my family. What am i doing at this time? • I am currently promoting my second album called He NDAAA! (which is a 13 track album , released early this year) • Running a retail business which started running in august 2007 • currently studying a business management course. Past experience, 1999-2000 I did voice training with Funda Centre music college in Soweto I did piano lessons and music theory with Trinity London School of music in which 2000-2001 Did a diploma in Sound Engineering at an institution called Ditemo music school 2005-2006 Studied Music Business in a learner ship provided by Create SA Work experience 2001 Composed and produced a theme song for a community project called the Soweto Mountain of hope. 2002-2003 A lead singer for a cultural group called Dzomo. 2003 Founded a group called Harmony 2004-2005-2006 Composed and produced his first solo project called Better Days 2004 Coordinated a cultural event in Limpopo sponsored by the National Lottery 2005. released my second album called HE NDAA!2007 [u][b]Highlights south african artists [/b][/u] Shared stage with the likes of Kabelo, Zwai Bala, Arthur, Mzambiya, Percy, Colbert Mukwevho, ZoZo, Ntando, Ringo, Revolution, Maduvha, Bricks and Malaika to mention a few.
