From various suburbs of south west Sydney comes 5 mates from a local youth group. In 2006 they decided they wanted to be in a band, share their music and message, and at at the same time rock out and have fun. They've shared the stage with many incredible bands like Antiskeptic, Family Force 5, New Empire, Lukas, Planet of the Stereos, The Understatement, Moravia, Seven Steady, Daybreak and Modern Joy. The highlight being the support for US band Family Force 5 at the Spectrum in early 2009, which was promoted by Frontier Touring and Harbour Agency. In 2006 they released their debut EP 'Permission Slip', with Delusion Records. They have since gone on to write many more songs, including the recently released single 'Take My Hand' (May 2009). In 2007 they finished 4th in the National Musicoz Awards, giving them some great exposure in the local and national media! But 2008 was the year, Sam's Permission played at Blackstump Music festival, held at Sydney's Equestrian Centre. After being in the crowd for many years, they were now part of an unforgettable lineup of bands including Alabaster Box, Project 86 and Playjerise. Sams Permission recently played at Impact 09 in Sydney with and amazing line up of Planet of the Stereos, Modern Joy, Candice Casagrande, Lukas, Stu Larsen, and Sevem Mi Lord.
