I worked as an IT/Network Tech because I'm good at it, and it paid for my expensive addiction to anything creative! People think I'm arrogant, but I really just have no time for people who think they can walk all over me. If you don't obsessively love yourself, then chances are I'll like you. I ALWAYS reply to comments and give picture comments back when given. Since the age of 15 I've made; Two half hour teenage life/action/stunt/comedy shorts that last half an hour each and feature basically what me and my mates got up to in the boring summer of 2002 through to the following summer of 2003. 6 experimental/electronic/DJ-ing albums, which I made under the name "DjStitch" which also spawned an Online radio station in which, me and guest friends host an insane interest in the comedy of bondage gags and pro wrestlers who have been in the sport so long that their limbs should really be falling off by now. Also a spawn of 2 fictitious characters from the outrageously over-advertised "Powerade" drink, and the over-zealous claims that the advertising agencies were giving out. this in turn gave us the idea's for various songs such as; "South African Ice Caps" an acoustic song based on some immature hyperactive lyrics, but with outstanding amounts of vocals from both Tom and myself. in total i think there's about 25 vocal tracks or something like that. "Powerade Song, The" The lyrics in the song are serious, even if the people who are supposed to be singing it aren't. Also around the same time I started making the short videos, I got a guitar and began to write songs, some of which will be on my upcoming EP/Album "A Quantity of No Importance" under the band name "NiX". The Album title is actually the meaning of the word "Nix". In the album I will not only compile most of the songs I've written, but also make each track sound as individual as possible. OK...It's taken a little longer than I thought to get it done, mostly cause I've had writers block or nothing to write about or whatever. But I'm getting back on track now, what with a course I'm on that forces me to actively think about writing ALL the time. Plus they have some awesome books on the music industry which help you understand it all! Long story short, I wrote like, 6 tracks in 8 months, then didn't see the point in finishing it as, people I asked to play on it or write songs with me just couldn't be bothered, or weren't as into it as I was or whatever. But now I'm back on track and recording some new, and some not so new, stuff so hopefully I'll have the thing finished soon. Hopefully early next year, if not before. P.O.
