Hello, my name is Daniel Hall, welcome to my page. I hope you listen to all of my tracks because I feel that they all say something different about me and the style of music I like. I do all of my compositions electronically with the program Reason 3.0. I like to break out of using synthesized sounds all the time. I find the program very good for creating organic instrumental sounds. [color="indigo"]I am going to attempt to break down what the tracks sound like to me:[/color] [color="darkblue"][u]Get Free[/u] - I think this track reminds me of 'House' music. It has a tropical, chilled out feel to it. [u]Finally[/u] - This song is very electronic and reminds me of 'Trance'. It tends to be overtly sexual and melodramatic. [u]Garden of You[/u] - This is not a dance track. It is soundtrack like. It could be chill out type music. It is calm and good for background noise. It sounds through composed, with not much of a returning theme. [u]Hip Not Hick[/u] - I suppose this song may be considered 'Breakbeat'. The tempo is kinda fast for dance. It could be like a soundtrack or even a video game type song maybe? Very electronic. [u]Ignation[/u] - Very Techno/House, very club type dance track. No organic sound, all very electronic. [u]Longer Than Time[/u] - Another soundtrack. Very mellow and easy listening. Emotional and ambient. [u]Love[/u] - A Classical composition. It can stand alone but also would do good for a movie. It is a dramatic piece. [u]Miracle[/u] - I sent this track to a website called 'Beatsdigital' as a free download. It was in the top 12 of the most downloaded tracks for a few weeks. They described it as 'Ethno Trance'. It is a dance song to me but give it a listen and decide for yourself. [u]Moments[/u] - This song was my first attempt at a spoken word piece. It don't consider it a song really. The musical aspect of it is used as a supplement for the poetry. [u]Searching For Paradise[/u] - Another 'House' track meant for dance. Upbeat and happy. Very bright and upbeat. [u]Smooth Ridin'[/u] - I called this track "Smooth Ridin" because I though it would sound great for cruisin' around in your car. It is electro/dance, but mellow at the same time. [u]Spirit Dance[/u] - This track is very high energy 'Trance'. It's hard to explain. Just give it a listen. [u]Stomp[/u] - I named this track "Stomp" because I envisioned it being played in a club and having people just stomping around and moving the place. It is Electro/House and kind of apocaliptic sounding.[/color] [b]In addition to this site I have other interests and hobbies that I use other sites for.[/b] I use the blog section on [i]myspace[/i] to write my poetry.
