Hi- Ive been singing since I was 16- then went to Europe where I was lucky to get together a 5 piece allgirl Band and we played mostly R/B & Soul-but gradually we wrote our own songs and they were well accepted-Blues,Soul & R/B-TV/lots,also clubs we played at the Montreaux Jazz Festival 2 years running- great fun! and played gigs all over Europe for 4-5 years-but alas as females do- one by one the girls left to have babies till only 2 of us were left and we headed for London where we played great clubs -Mayfair/Quaglinos- loads of pubs/restaurant/private parties in Hampstead and all over U.K. at Blues and R/B festivals-Ive been writing and singing only my own songs for the past 7 years-had a baby in 2005 so came back to Perth to raise him-my angel Gabriel,my family are here and I need that for my son. Im a great Arethra Franklin & Nina Simone Fan.Will post some more of my songs asap. Best for Now Kara
