skalamanga had been actively involved in music since the early days of the British underground music scene , and can trace his influences right back to the eletro and b boy sound. he began mixing and scratching the hip hop, techno and acid house tunes from the era . The explosion of hardcore and the early UK rave scene coincided with leaving secondary school and he took it upon himself and longlee k to start a sound system playing house partys . His passion for vinyl and partying grew steadily until his early DJ career was brought to an abrupt end after having his first child the care free days were over. when the free paper was burnt SK started to think about beening a producer he latched on to the sounds of lfo, nighmares on wax and other classic like that wot started the whole seen off. He did not have the money to those big samplers ov the day so he invested in a casio keyboard witch allowed him to sample about 3 sec with that he had areel to reel tape dec and a moog synth now the experimenting had started it haz taken him along time to get to this point but it was fun.
