Bio
Seventeen is a very young age to get started in the music business, but the first time Jesse picked up a guitar he was only six years of age. His first guitar was a birthday gift from his father, Patrick Smits. Although he didn’t know it at the time a patient role model would be the essential key in molding the style of music he would write. Jesse grew up in a small town right out side of Green Bay Wisconsin. There he meet and was inspired by several of the local musicians. He learned unique and different styles of playing guitar from Soft Melody to Hard Rock n Roll. When he was 15, he played in a band performing original and cover band songs. The band quickly gained recognition and after their first year together had the great satisfaction of playing one of Green Bay's most sought after arenas. After playing several concerts Jesse decided to go solo. This would give him the time necessary to accomplish writing and recording his own music. When he was first introduced into the world of recording he wasn’t sure how to make a song sound complete and full with only a small variety of instruments and a low budget home recording studio. So he decided to take the basic tracks he recorded in his home studio and have them mastered by a professional. Now today he is working on becoming known through-out the world by working with a variety of promotion agencies in hopes of one day playing in large scale performances.
