Josh Bryan creates music that is a hybrid of electronic precision and emotion. His music possesses deep spiritual significance, its own energy and its own power. Josh generates intriguing soundscapes backed by undulating rhythms and bass using Reason and Cubase. His music is probably best described as having the ability to create a story through sound. Josh’s musical influences are broad. They include – Erasure, Depech Mode, Enigma, Delirium, Nine Inch Nails, Samuel Barber, UB40, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Lisa Gerrard, Imogen Heap, BT, Massive Attack, Hans Zimmer, Deep Forest, Timbaland, Stabbing Westward, Linkin Park and John Williams amongh others. The track, “Shining Darkly", served as the soundtrack for “Super Sunday – Narrabeen”, a short surfing edit, by award-winning Australian surf film director, Tim Bonython.
