According to Webster's: \Stil"li*cide\, n. [L. stillicidium; stilla a drop + cadere to fall.] A continual falling or succession of drops; rain water falling from the eaves. However, according to five boys from Jersey, it's an upheaval of the status quo in music. Best described as Groove/Funk Rock, their sound builds on their influences - from the psychedelic and funky sounds of 70's arena rock, to the sheer power of 80's and 90's era hard rock and metal. These inspirations (along with countless others) are fused with their trademark "greedy" songwriting styles to produce something unlike anything heard before. Stillicide's music will make you shake your ass and sing along.
