Bio
[b].[/p]Born in 1982, Alan Proctor was raised on a diet of The Clash, Bruce Springsteen and The Jam. Whilst some of those influences are evident in his work, Proctor is no doubt a very unique talent with a sound of his own. Proctor's songs discuss love, life and the pains of growing up in a small dead-end town in an original, poetic style. He is proud of his town but there is a sense of desire to move onwards and upwards within his set of songs. The set of songs Proctor has produced, entitled 'The Crescent Demo's 2007' have been causing a stir on sites such as myspace, where he has quickly gained a large and loyal following. He has been noted on these sites for his uniqueness and his tremendous song craft. It's only a matter of time before Alan Proctor becomes a household name so listen and enjoy the sounds of Coventry's number one troubadour. Alan Proctor's 'Two Minds' is set to appear on Matchbox Recordings' 'STAY IN THE BOX: VOLUME 2'; a compilation of all the best new artists from around the world, released on 26th November 2007. 'Two Minds' will also be officially available for download from this date onwards from ITunes. To hear more, tune into Matchbox Radio 24.
