Robodop Snei is the solo project of Dan Silver that started off 1996 in Germany. At first it was purely a studio-project for quite a few years. After creating so many tunes it became apparent to play it live. Using diverse analog synthesizers, samplers & sequencers, Robodop Snei has shaped a unique blend of psychedelic sounds that are ambient & chilled, but also electro-experimental and laced with psychedelic trance influences as well as old school psychedelia. In the Year 2000 Robodop Snei relocated to Melbourne / Australia. The first full length album '2000 explodiert' was released in 2001, and is a collection of beautiful & dark ambient psychedelic songs. The second album 'The golden egg' came out in 2003 and is more chilled out than the first one. In 2004 the fourth Album 'Have you heard of a planet called 'earth?' was released and it introduced a new sound incorporating dance-music elements and 80's electro into the always present psychedelic sound. This shift of direction explains the next lot of releases : The collection 'Psychedelic Tunes Volumes 1-5" is an instrumental vacation into groovy psychedelic realms & ambient epic landscape-melodies to chill out.
