Mr.Gilmore A.K.A I.L.L.V.I.L.L.E, The son of Deirdre Gilmore and Sherman Jones.Mr.Gilmore Gee Que Productions is the brainchild of the man himself...Mr.Gilmore!!! Mr.Gilmore like most was raised in a single parent household by two good parents, of which one was never home.According to his mother Mrs.Dee Dee, a young Que used to wake his siblings up at night banging out drum patterns on the kitchen table. Eventually, she bought him a boom box for his birthday and thus sparked his interest in music. He began freestyling, writing rhymes, and followed the music of many artists popular at the time. He also spent much time either on the streets committing crime or living in group homes. However, he considered hip hop to be an escape from his hard times, as he enjoyed beatboxing, turntablism, and eventually rapping.Due to drug's and violence, living in Central ,Va cultivated this man and made him into a roc solid go-getter Mr.Gilmore hails from Charlottesville,Va and is the nephew of the late great drummer Johnny Gilmore. Musically Mr.Gilmore got his start under tutelage from his Uncle Johnny, Houston Ross, John Hornsby, Jamal Milner, Ivan Orr, Shonn (Bump) Brown and classical violinist/conductor Laura Mulligan Thomas. Although he didnt pursue music any further in school after his brief stint in the orchestra Mr.Gilmore kept a fine knowledge of music with his uncanny ability to hear music over and over in his head. He attended Charlottesville High School and graduated with an Intensive Studies diploma. After graduation Mr.Gilmore was introduced by his good friend , Jamie Johnson (with whom he later started the band Young Groovers) to his secret get away stowed at the top of the steps where Dave Matthews was building his empire,Traxx. There at the Music Resource Center Mr.Gilmore recieved help with his musical journey, gaining knowledge bestowed upon him by engineers, artist and scholars. Later on Mr.Gilmore went on to be employed by the same folks and afforded the right to cultivate his newfound love for piano. Recieving a keyboard from his Grandmother Anna Gilmore also helped to push his thirst that has led to him making beat's,track's and producing for a long list of folks. Mr.Gilmore-'' [i]Aw shucks the way I see it man I'm just trying to spread love musically whether Im rich or broke.......I dont dress up like others I just may use some one of another races face to lure people in to hear the music, you know post it on the website and once you hear the music you are hooked." Although alot of his work has been contributed to mix tapes and un-official liscensing vehicles, he holds strong and strives to submit his own personal records for major releases. His first album "Just like ILLVILLE"; available on www.reverbnation.com/illville2 , www.soundclick.com/illvilleva , www.myxer.com/1ATEAM , was not part of a major distribution but still generated 100(k)+ in song plays and was recently re-constructed after numerous fans such as: Speedbump of Bellbrook,OH, chocolate42069 of Indianapolis,IN gadget2121 KansasCity,MO Discovery_pilot of Blenheim, New Zealand, impac, http://www.betarecords.com/swampthug/, http://www.betarecords.com/micknife/, showed renewed interest. Currently Mr.Gilmore is working on track's for Steve(S2theD)Dualey of U.S.S affiliation in California and his up-coming bio 20+ year old virgin. He's also trying to set up time to start a project for his deceased uncle with Jamal Milner and his other musical family members. On the side Mr.Gilmore shoots low-budget music videos for artist like E-Dubb 357 and viral videos for V.A Doe.See end for complete links!!! He credits growing up to fast and furious for giving him the fuel to his musical fire. This also helped a determined young man graduate from high school and go on to become one of the biggest idiots alive.Having potential to attend any prestiguos school in America, Mr.Gilmore instead made another wrong decision and chose the School of Hardknock's Bad Luck Degree program. ("temptation can kill a whole nation or birth ideas to establish a new one"-L.Damont) During a brief ( )YEAR STINT in the pen Mr.Gilmore attended Southside Va Community College and maintained a 3.5 G.P.A whilst dealing with the pains of living in a iron box.His mind state then changed from that of wild animal to that of a hood scholar. After reconnecting with his demons of violence that lurked he once again(upon release) felt himself being pulled into that ridiculous street life.Only a chance encounter with a powerful A&R gave him much needed insight into the inter working's of the game. . After that he earned a second major-label shot with Def Jam, and made an unsuccessful attempt to gain leverage over label red tape.In 2001, The Source magazine praised him in its "Unsigned Hype" column that highlighted unsigned hip-hop artists.Even though he relied more on flow and brilliant wordplay, and he continued his penchant for mining beats from the popular producers of the day such as Curtis Rayshonn (Bump) Brown an upstart in-house producer for Foulsound, he still fell short!!! Through his lyricism, he was able to retain respect from some of his die-hard fans and it started the show.
