My passion for music began at a young age when i recieved a small black drum set for my 3rd birthday. I was adopted a few weeks after i was born into a family where music played a large role in my fathers life. He taught at a public school and played guitar and keyboard in a band on the side. I began taking piano lessons when i was in elementary school, however, I was never one for lessons. I kept them up, off and on, through out grade school, and I picked up the sax in the middle school band. This too didn't last long. I was quickly tired of the structure and constraint freedom i felt musically. My dad began teaching me a few basic chords on the guitar in middle school, and in 8th grade I decided I wanted lessons. Which later ended. I had started writing songs at the time; nothing too complex, and I later became interested in classical guitar. These lessons lasted about 3 months, but were greatly cherished. I still wish I would have stuck with all the theory and skill I had been learning, although, I couldn't put the guitar down either way. My songwriting also took its place in my heart beside music and more specifically, guitar. I have recorded some songs on an 8 track digital, but I'm far from perfecting these songs. I hope you enjoy all the same. I feel as if I have a long way to go when it comes to music, but I'm loving every second of the ride. Peace and love, Darry
