Bio
A Days Pay formed in 2003 and quickly started creating songs. After only a few months together they played at a local school competition which got them positive recognition in their area. Once they had a few songs under their belt, they applied to the Local Council for funding to record. They were chosen for their funding in 2006 which allowed them to record their first demo CD. After they had finished their demo, it quickly became in high demand, being sent off to organisations such as Vodafone X Air which was viewed on T.V. in Germany, Australia and New Zealand. A New Zealand T.V. programme called StudentVille also asked for their demo. The demo was sent off to various radio stations around the Auckland area. Since then the band have changed their genre and added in their own unique musical talents to create songs that show their young passion for music. This year the band's song Lefty was selected for a Charity Compilation CD of local bands and it is now being sold in music stores. The band have continued to self promote themselves with various internet marketing schemes, t-shirts and playing local shows. The band plan to continue to create songs and get a full album count by the end of 2007. Also a new Demo CD will be recorded in the summer of 2007 which includes their new taste in genre. The band will record again in 2008, but this time it will be a single which will be sent to New Zealand radio stations. Their album should be expected to be out by the end of 2008. www.myspace.com/adayspayband
