May Child was founded by Montreal guitarist and composer Yvan Roberge. His passion started at the age of 12 and soon after he started playing with bands on the local scene. While playing with numerous bar bands he started working on his songwriting. All this led him to start his own project called “May Child”. This gave Yvan the opportunity to gain experience in writing, recording, and producing. In 2007 May Child started the production of the debut album. In 2008 May Child signed a 3 year, european deal with Z records of England. The players include: Marc Spenard (vocals), Michael Shotton (drums), Corey Macfadyen (bass) and Yvan Roberge (guitars). All songs on the album were written to be accessible to a large demographic of listeners, without compromising the integrity of the material which is “all about the songs”. www.maychild.ca May Child is now available on iTunes
