Born in Texas, I was raised around horses, manure and corn feed women, so I loves them all, except for one, I'll let you figure out which. My senior year of high school I began my apprenticeship in the electrical field. I earned my Journeyman's License in 2003 and later became certified in programing and measurement. Unlike many people in music I don't have any sweet stories about sitting on my grandpa's lap while he sang hymns from grandma's book as a boy. There was no one in my family who played an instrument except my Nanny and her organ. Come to think of it I bet Poppy played his organ a little too. Nope, I just love music. I have two comfort zones, in the middle of a horse and in the middle of a stage. I can't wait each night to play my guitar and though sometimes it is exhausting it is worth it when it is time to stop and everyone is yelling "ONE MORE SONG."I gave up my other passion for this one, horses. I sold all of my sticks so that while I was on the road my folks didn't have to feed them. But whenever I am home the first place I go is the barn. There is an unspoken peace between animals and my self when ever they are around me somehow they know it is OK. The opposite is true as well.I moved around allot growing up, 17 schools in 12 years all across the country. I have met all sorts of people and been able to call many of them my friends the rest I don't call at all. The one common denominator in all those different people was music. I find it amazing that you can be standing next to someone who's presence offends you but if your favorite song is playing it takes you longer to notice they are even there. I have been refereed to as an old soul and my love of the country and simple thing in life are amplifiers of that trait. Most of my free time is spent working toward being the exact opposite of Big and Rich, sorry if that offends you. I enjoy playing my guitar, swinging a rope, writing my songs and an interesting conversation with a woman I am attracted to. I prefer Fender and Tradition Guitars, Fender and Jeff Deaton amps and if I could offer any advise it would be this.....work at Hardees because once you get music or rodeo in your blood there aint no goin' back! Take Care, Justin - If you should run across me in my travels and come to me with an answer to the question posed in the first paragraph I will buy you a drink
