[i]Having always been an enormous fan of HipHop from an early age, Virgo remembers loving Rap music. He constantly would perform and recite lyrics from his favorite artists. Virgo was fascinated by the incredible lyrics of artists such as Rakim, LL Cool J, Black Thought, Public Enemy, EPMD, 2Pac, and Nas. Virgo tries to carry out the influences of these artists in his music, but with his own style as well. In 2003, Virgo linked up with his long-time friend and producer Jon Vitale. Jon is known for his futuristic sound, and his undeniable production chops. He has written for many different artists and bands, ranging in every genre from Rock to HipHop to Techno. He has been known to be the “GO-To-GUY” around Long Island. Virgo believed that Jon Vitale would be the perfect producer to bring out emotion and style in his music. With Jon Vitale’s music and Virgo’s lyrics there is bound to be a new style to conventional HipHop. Virgo plans to bring certain things back to rap that have been missing for a while… Love, story-telling, and thought-provoking lyrics. In 2004, Virgo and Vitale assembled a band to offer something that most HipHop artists lack, Live music.[/i]
