Los Angeles Music Awards Best Jazz Album & Best Lounge Artist 2006, Max embraces all styles of music with a keen instinct for the nuances of each genre he excels in. Max wrote his first song in 1976 and his first Big Jazz Band Chart at sixteen! He received further training from some of the leading jazz educators/studiomen in Los Angeles, Gary Foster, Clare Fischer, Alan Broadbent, Bobby Bradford, Freddie Hubbard, and he even wrote for the Count basie Orch. In the 80's New Wave was his forte along with working on major films "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" & "The Abyss", the 90s, at the forefront of the Rave movement, his 1st release on Priority Records sold 35,000 copies. iTunes carries his releases along with bands(14 writers) who signed to his Maxx Vaxx Music Publishing. His latest placements on My Name Is Earl, Judging Amy and the 1999 Superbowl have exposed him to millions of people globally. He's placed his clients on video games, download sites, and ringtone companies. Latest accomplishments: Partnered with Link Music, signed Pat Robinson, Jimmy Street, Georgie Donovan and more to his catalog, and in 2007, Max produced a groundbreaking internet show designed to help artists understand and enter the music industry as professionals: "THE MUSIC SHOPPE" With Joanne Ledesma Every Thursday from 2-3PM PST on www.adviceradio.com Max also speaks at writer societies such as Song Net and is working on his book.
