REGGAE PHIL IS AN ENGLISH INDEPENDENT MUSIC PRODUCER, REMIXER, LYRICIST AND COMPOSER (16/12/1974) Phillip Clancy aka Reggae Phil was born. I grew up in Manchester England Since my childhood I have been passionate in all aspects of prouducing music. I studied at the SSR Manchester (The School of Sound Recording) which began its life as `Spirit Studios` in 1980. The Smiths and other bands have passed through the doors of this world acclaimed school including: Happy Mondays, Simply Red, 808 State, New Order and many more. I was inspired at a young age by composers such as Jamaican born singer, songwriter John Holt, singer, songwriter, musician and guitarist Robert Nesta `Bob` Marley and the British Reggae/Pop band formed in 1978 in Birmingham England that is UB40. Subsequently I have now been producing music in various genre and write my own poetic lyrics for 11 years. Reggae Phil will be happy to perform at both private and public events, produce music and write lyrics for all in the entertainment industry.
