I am Jason Carter and I have been a musician for over 22 years, with the guitar being my main instrument. I moved to California from Alaska in Dec. 2001 with my band THUNDERHED. Before THUNDERHED left Alaska, we had opened for such acts as Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Pantera, Quiet Riot, & Lynch Mob! Needless to say we were one of the top metal acts to ever come from Alaska. After arriving in California, we quickly jumped into the music scene and began turning some important heads. After more than 7 years together, one of the greatest unsigned metal bands around, fell and was to never recover. The reason for the fall of THUNDERHED was due to lack of motivation on behalf of a couple of band members and a certain someone's mouth which ended up losing a sponsorship for us. Enough was Enough! Everyone in the band kind of just went there separate ways. They all cruised back to Alaska, except for myself, choosing to remain in Cali. Since the demise of THUNDERHED, my time has been spent writing and recording music on my own as a solo artist. I have written some amazing songs, that have all been professionally recorded in my incredible home recording studio. All the music I have written and recorded to date as a solo artist has been instrumentally done completely by myself (guitar,drums,bass,vocals,etc.)in my studio that I call NervShock Productions!
