fused together with heart and soul, mandi's music is an explosive mixture of original, fresh rhythms and melodies that will get you hook'd and keep you coming back for more! her thought provoking lyrics are set in stone and bound to make you think! so sit back, relax and fly away. mandi kennel is a solo female performer. in a similar style to tegan & sara, mandi's set consists of vocals and acoustic guitar. mandi recently graduated from seneca college in toronto, on enrolled in independent music production. with over 600 applicants and only 40 spots to fill, this intensive program teaches the necessary skills needed to becoming an independent musician. some of the things that this program teaches are business, promotions, production, recording and songwriting. prior to seneca, mandi also graduated from st. lawrence college in kingston, on, enrolled in digital arts for musicians. this 2 year program offered an intensive education in music theory and digital media. mandi has played a variety of shows within ontario such as, kingston, toronto and ottawa. she has played at some of the most well know bars and pubs such as, el mocambo (toronto), st. lawrence college (kingston) and the drake hotel (toronto)... currently mandi continues to perfect her music and is preparing to record and release her debut album, "fly away".
