Bio

I, Kristy Masterson, was born in Carmichael, CA on January 4, 1982. I was the second child of Jan and Matt's. My older sister Marla was born in May of 1979. I was always a very outgoing girl,it was never difficult for me to make friends. I was a competitive gymnast for about 7 years, making it to level nine as a commpetitive gymnast. This required practicing for 5 hours a day 5 days a week. I always knew that one of my passions was singing but because I was always practicing gymnastics, my singing got pushed to the side. In 8th grade I chose to retire from my gymnastics career. It wasn't until the summer of 1999 I started singing again. I had many influences in my life telling me that I could never make it as a singer. My father never let me sing in the house because he didn't want to listen to it. I stopped singing until one summer when i was working at a camp for Diabetics one of the other counselors saw the talent I had and pushed me to sing at a campfire. Although it was a simple song and I was only singing in front of children, it was that night I knew that singing needed to be part of my life. I've enjoyed singing all these years but due to negative influences I never had confidence in my vocals to persue anything. Ive now rid myself of those negative influence and surround myself with only love. . .Now i'm ready to take on the world. I want nothing more than to share my voice with the world. Unfortunately, I'm not a great songwriter and play no musical instrument; so I am hoping to meet some producers and songwriters to help me make some original songs.
