67x is a south east based "Hybrid Rock" band. Their blend of razor hard riff's and huge melodic vocals are sometimes described as a mix between Metallica and The Beatles. Fans and industry professionals have been blown away by the sound. 67x will write and demo 40 to 50 songs before selection the final cuts to record per CD, only selecting the top few for release. This is the standard level of perfection they hold themselves to. The "Hybrid Rock" sound was forged by Jon Dodds in a quest for blending heavy guitar groove based music, with today's POP band vocals done with a late 60's, early 70's kind of feel. Hundreds of CD-r pre-Releases have been sold. Thousands and thousands of people have downloaded songs off the internet, and 67x has come to practically own the rock charts on certain internet music sites, and notice has been taken by the industry.
