I got one song on my showcase, that contains sampled sounds figure it out. I orchestrate my beats from scratch. Sampling is something that I learned to do, but I kinda shy away from it. Grew up in Amityville on Long Island (Strong Island). When I was a kid you had The Sugar Hill Gang, Curtis Blow, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, Busy Bee, Schooly Dee, etc... Then Run DMC, Public Enemy, LL, and Boogie Down Productions, etc... I always listened to da beat first, then the lyrics. Not lookin to get rich, but if I land a few dollars here and there I wont complain.
